Ruth Bader, eminent women’s rights champion left for her heavenly abode on Friday at her Washington residence.She was 87. The reason for her death was metastatic pancreatic cancer, she has been fighting the battle for quite sometime.

She was the second female justice in the US Supreme Court and a well known public figure. She was famously eke- named as the Notorious RBG, for her defence of the rights of women and minorities.

US politicians and Hollywood stars are grieving the loss of a great champion the one who pioneered women’s right movement in the country.”Ruth Bader Ginsburg does not need a seat on the Supreme Court to earn her place in the American history books,” Mr Clinton remarked at the time of her appointment. She was a respected public figure and her demise is expected to influence the upcoming US elections.

The Hollywood celebs are offering condolences on her demise.
