Walt Disney Animation Studios revealed Wish, a 2023 film that is inspired by the recognisable wishing star from the Disney logo, as part of the D23 Expo. Ariana DeBose, a West Side Story Oscar winner, will voice the movie’s main character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story of Wish revolves around Asha (DeBose), a 17-year-old who, in a moment of despair, makes a passionate appeal to the stars because she perceives darkness in her kingdom that no one else does. A genuine star that assists Asha on her quest comes true to fulfil her dream.
