In the Indian adaptation of Citadel, actors Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will share screen time for the first time. Samantha apparently consented to filming private moments with Varun for the programme.
Citadel India will reportedly have several lip-lock sequences, similar like the original version with Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.
Samantha reportedly gave the go-ahead to film sequences in which she would be seen kissing her co-star, according to a report in a Tamil news source. The private bedroom moments between Priyanka and Richard are also included in the original version.
Varun and Samantha, as well as the producers, have not yet responded to the claims.
Priyanka’s show is not being remade for Samantha’s impending spy-action spectacular, she explained a few weeks ago, clearing up any misunderstandings about the nature of the Indian adaptation.
Raj & DK are directing the Citadel movie in India, and Samantha will be shown throwing some powerful blows and pulling out high-octane stunts. Samantha’s work in The Family Man earned her praise; Citadel will be her second production with Raj & DK. She described the performance as a “homecoming” for her.
The series has been produced on a grand scale and is regarded as one of Raj & DK’s most ambitious endeavours.
