When Alia Bhatt reacted to gossips about her being the reason for Ranbir-Katrina breakup

Alia Bhatt responded to rumours that said she was the reason for Ranbir Kapoor’s split from Katrina Kaif, his former girlfriend.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are regarded as one of the most desirable couples in the B-Town. The couple’s sensual romance and innocent PDA never fail to turn heads in town. The couple began dating while filming Brahmastra, and got married on April 14, 2022. Raha was brought into the couple’s life a few months later.

Ranbir Kapoor was always seen as quite the casanova in Bollywood before his marriage to Alia Bhatt. The actor has dated a number of ladies throughout his life. Nonetheless, his connections with prominent actresses Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were the ones that usually made news. In addition, Ranbir ended his relationship with Deepika, started seeing Katrina, and eventually ended it to be with Alia. Interestingly, there was lot of speculation that at movie star Imtiaz Ali’s party, Ranbir and Alia became close, which caused rifts in his then-current relationship with Katrina.

Eventhough none of the three ever came clean, Alia addressed the accusations that she was the cause of Ranbir and Katrina’s separation much later in a public interview. Alia defended herself by saying, “I read that I was the cause of the Ranbir-Katrina breakup. It was so ridiculous that I didn’t think it needed a clarification.”

In an earlier segment on Neha Dhupia’s programme, Katrina Kaif was questioned about her feelings towards her former partner, Ranbir Kapoor, and his previous partner, Alia Bhatt. The actress responded by saying that she tries to avoid grudges and be cool with both of them so that everyone is at peace. Katrina said, “I’m taking this as a compliment. But yes, if someone likes you, who knows me well, and feels nice about my conduct, it’s a good thing. I’m not trying to be saintly but it’s always easier to just make peace, be friends, to be loving. I’m not doing this to make your life easier. But I’m doing it to make my life is easier. It genuinely is more peaceful, and you feel lighter and happier when you don’t hold on to any anger or grudges.”
