Shah Rukh Khan, a Bollywood superstar, returned to Mumbai in the late hours of Thursday after spending the day in an Ahmedabad hospital. On May 21, the actor was rushed to a hospital in Ahmedabad after suffering a heatstroke during his team’s playoff match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
After a day in the hospital and under supervision, SRK was discharged on Thursday, and the entire Khan family went down to Mumbai on a private plane that night.
As fans and reporters gathered outside the airport to catch sight of the actor, SRK stepped out, covered in a large umbrella.
The Pathaan star did not pose for the paparazzi and instead rushed directly to his car, hidden beneath an umbrella and guarded by his team. Gauri Khan, Abram Khan, Suhana Khan, and her reported boyfriend, Agastya Nanda, were also spotted leaving the airport in their cars.
After KKR defeated SRH at the Narendra Modi Stadium, becoming the first team to reach the IPL 2024 finals, SRK was seen rejoicing in the stands before taking his customary victory lap around the stadium.
However, he was hospitalised at the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad the following day after suffering from heatstroke and severe dehydration, and Gauri Khan was seen hurrying to his side. KKR co-owner and best friend Juhi Chawla also paid him a visit to the hospital.
On Thursday, SRK’s manager, Pooja, issued a formal statement about the actor’s health, assuring fans that he was doing well. She also thanked everyone for their prayers and well wishes.
SRK will shortly go to Chepauk, Chennai, for the final IPL 2024 match between KKR and whoever wins Qualifier 2 between SRH and RR.
