Diljit Dosanjh is making news for his latest flick, Amar Singh Chamkila. He is also getting a lot of positive feedback for his recent concert in Mumbai. On April 13, the artist took the stage, and fans couldn’t contain their excitement.
Many celebrities enjoyed the event, which featured the singer-turned-actor on stage. Following the concert, Angad Bedi shared a video of himself dancing to Dosanjh’s songs alongside host and actor Maniesh Paul.
In the video posted by the actor, he can be seen enthusiastically performing Punjabi Bhangra to Dosanjh’s song Patiala Peg. Maniesh joined Angad at the concert as they performed to the famed singer’s hit Punjabi songs.
The Lust Story star looked great in all black, while Maniesh wore a printed half-sleeved shirt and bootcut trousers to the occasion.
The actor captioned the post, “Punjabi aaa gaaye bombay oyee!!!!! @diljitdosanjh ne kamlaa kartaah shaher oyee!!! Ohna ne kehaa bheed badi hai bhangra paunaa mushkil aa…Bhangra taan main kar ke dikhaau!!!! (Punjabis in the Bombay!!!!! @diljitdosanjh drove the city crazy. He said it will be difficult to perform Bhangra amid the heavy crowd…but I will do it anyway!!!!!).”
Meanwhile, Angad Bedi’s wife, Neha Dhupia, a prominent Bollywood actress, posted a video on Instagram. The video showed the couple and their children, Mehr and Guriq, meeting Dosanjh backstage. The Good Newz actor greeted the children and hugged the couple. Neha’s message read, “We are living our Diljit Dosanjh era!!!” And added, “#GOAT …. @diljitdosanjh.”
Diljit Dosanjh is currently in the spotlight for his outstanding performance in Imtiaz Ali’s film, Amar Singh Chamkila. The biopic on the legendary artist of the same name also stars Parineeti Chopra as his on-screen wife, Amarjot Kaur. The film is available to watch on Netflix.
