Vijay Varma has been dating Tamannaah Bhatia for over a year now, and he says he never planned on keeping his love affair under wraps. The actor believes it takes a lot of effort to cover up a relationship and that he was not okay with that. In an interview with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, the actor opened up on being vocal about their relationship with Tamannaah.
During this interview, he stated, “I think we were both aligned on the fact that if we like to spend time together and if we like each other, then there is no need to hide this. It takes a lot of effort to hide a relationship. You cannot go out together, your friends cannot click your photos. I don’t like such restrictions. It wasn’t like I wanted to be out there, but I just didn’t want to be caged. I didn’t want to cage my feelings.”
That being said, he also explained that there are lots of things about their relationship that remain private, and he keeps that close to his heart. Giving an example, Vijay mentioned that he has over 5,000 photos of the two of them, yet they never put them out on social media. That is because it is for them to cherish and hold close in their heart.
Rumors of the two dating began when the pair was spotted celebrating New Year’s in Goa months before Lust Stories 2 was released. The anthology had Vijay and Tamannaah together on screen for the first time, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is said that they shared their closeness while working together on the series.
