The Caught Up singer, in a conversation with Breakfast Club radio show host Charlamagne Tha God, said that he and Alicia’s husband, Swizz Beatz, shared a good laugh over the furor.

“Absolutely, we laughed about it,” said the 45-year-old.

He added that it is crazy about people think. “It’s all about how you present things… It’s all about love.”

The Super Bowl halftime headliner described his performance as merely having fun “because of a song me and Alicia made many years ago and we celebrate it because of the legacy of it.”
