Indian Bollywood actress Urvashi Rutela, has once again found her way back to news headlines due to her latest Instagram post.
In her recent post, a girl is seen holding a large poster with “Thank god! Urvashi is not here” written on it. The poster is said to be from the latest Indian Premier League (IPL).
Taking her Social Media, The actress Shared the viral post and captioned it as “Why”. The cricket fans and followers of Urvashi Rautela were quick to understand that the poster was referring to the past controversy that was going on between Urvashi and Indian International Cricketer Rishabh Pant.
The poster seems to be from the match between Delhi Capitals Vs Gujarat Titans as Rishabh Pant made his first appearance in this match after his accident in December last year.
Both The Actress and the Cricketer have made headlines many times in the past due to their relationship with each other. It was once speculated that they both might be seeing each other, as they were spotted at lots of events together.
However, The Cricketer himself ended all of the rumours in 2019 by announcing his relationship with his girlfriend Isha Negi. Shortly after the revelation made by Rishabh Pant, a heated conflict took place between Urvashi and the cricketer when in one of her interviews, Urvashi stated “I was shooting in Varanasi, wahan se I had a show in New Delhi, toh meri wahaan se Delhi ki flight thi. In New Delhi, I was shooting full day and after about 10 hours of shooting when I went back, I had to get ready and you know that girls take a lot of time to get ready. Mr RP came, he sat in the lobby and waited for me, and he wanted to meet. Main itni tired thi, main so gayi and I didn’t realize that I had received so many calls. So, when I woke up, I saw 16-17 missed calls and then I felt so bad. That someone was waiting for me and I didn’t go. Out of respect, because a lot of girls don’t care about making someone wait, out of that show of respect, I told him that let’s meet when you’ll come to Mumbai.”
Fans instantly assumed that Urvashi was talking about Rishabh Pant, as she mentioned “RP”. Later on, The reaction of the cricketer acted as fuel on the fire as he shared “It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them.” on his Instagram, though he deleted the post later.
