The Weekend deletes Instagram handle, hashtag ‘The Dawn is Coming’ trends on Twitter

The Weeknd has previously cleansed his Instagram before releasing ‘Beauty Behind the Madness.’ At the same time, The Weeknd’s move comes just weeks after he began teasing a new album.

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye a.k.a The Weekend is currently in the news, since all of his postings, as well as his profile image, were taken from his official Instagram handle on July 30, 2021. This had left his supporters scratching their heads, unsure as to why all of Abel’s posts on social media had been deleted.

Yet this isn’t the first time Abel has removed all of his social media posts. The Weeknd has previously cleansed his Instagram before releasing ‘Beauty Behind the Madness.’ At the same time, The Weeknd’s move comes just weeks after he began teasing a new album. Because of the prior situation, people believe that The Weeknd’s new album, dubbed “The Dawn,” would be published shortly and that he did this to advertise his forthcoming album.

According to an ‘HITC’ report, before deleting all of his Instagram postings, The Weeknd had been sharing photographs with a gloomy theme. The Weeknd was photographed indulging in a darker theme for his album After Hours, a departure from his notorious red theme for his record After Hours. As soon as The Weeknd erased all of his posts, followers took to Twitter to make the phrase ‘The Dawn is coming’ trend. “The Weeknd has cleared his page,” one person said. The dawn is approaching.”

Through Twitter, he told followers to “say your final goodbyes,” implying the end of ‘After Hours’ Abel and the dawn of a new era.
