Maya Vander is expecting a child. The announcement comes nearly a year and a half after she announced her sad pregnancy loss at 38 weeks in December 2021.
In June 2022, six months after her stillbirth, she revealed she had miscarried. Vander is still hoping to have another child despite losing a pregnancy last year.
“Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had a stillbirth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I’d be part of the statistics,” Vander wrote on Instagram that month. “Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone. “What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagined would happen to me,” she added. “Given I share my pregnancies in the show, I knew I’d have to post about this and avoid the ‘when is your due date?” ‘question. You will always be in our hearts, baby Mason.”

“We got the autopsy report,” she told She also added that it was just a bad mix-up of the umbilical cord and some swallowed placenta.
She went on to say that her “amazing” husband and children had been important in getting her through the trauma.
The actor mentioned that, while she considers herself “very lucky” to be raising “two beautiful children,” she still wishes to have another child.
Vander, who has older children Aiden and Elle, revealed several months later that the death of her baby boy was a “freak accident” after she and husband David Miller were left in the dark for weeks. She believes that having a kid would be the best way to reduce her suffering.
