Zayed Khan recently talked about the divorce between his sister Sussanne Khan and Hrithik Roshan stating that their family chose to stand by the decision taken instead of turning on each other. He said their alternative was either to continue staying angry or continue to live happily and they chose to do the latter. Zayed talked about his relationship with Hrithik whom he called the ‘gem of a person’. Hrithik and Sussanne are now seeing other people.
Talking to Subhojit Ghosh on YouTube, Zayed revealed his warm bond with Hrithik, and said that Mumbai can be a difficult place for a marriage to survive in. “We are a very modern family. There’s a saying, blood is thicker than water. If two people don’t want to be with each other but they have much in common, one must understand and support them. There is something which lies ahead of that; family, children, everybody,” Zayed said.
He continued that they never deter sides. He addressed Hrithik as his “brother” and claimed to be close to him. Zayed also spoke about Hrithik’s girlfriend Saba and Sussanne’s boyfriend Arslaan, and described them as a “great lady” and “good boy” respectively.
