Sushant Singh Rajput’s sudden death has conjured up a storm of disbelief and misery in the entertainment industry. One of the most gifted actors with no film background whatsoever made his way to the top rung of Bollywood himself.
However, since the past few months the actor was not in quite a stable condition financially and mentally. Rajput’s servants revealed the actor was unwell since the last three days and even told one of his servants that he had paid all his debts that he had but he doesn’t know if he will be able to pay their salaries now.
According to media reports the actor had spent the last night with his friend. It is also being reported that he made his last call on Sunday morning to actor Mahesh Shetty who is also a close friend. The duo had worked together in Sushant’s first movie called Kis Desh Mein Hoga Mera Dil. This morning at around 9:30 AM he also spoke to his sister and then after having a glass of juice at around 10 AM he went inside his own room and latched the doors from within.
After one of his attendants tried to get in touch with him over the phone, there was no response and that’s when he gathered some people and also called the local key maker so that they could open the doors to his room. This was also when a friend had arrived who had by then informed the police. When the police arrived on the scene, at around 12:30 and 12:45, they broke opened to find Sushant Singh Rajput hanging from his ceiling fan.
Sushant Singh Rajput lived on the sixth floor of Mount Blanc Apartments in Bandra (West), Mumbai. He used to live in with an art-designer, one cook and two other house helps. The rent of the house was a whopping Rs 4.5 lakh per month. India Today reported, Today, the security guards in his building said that he had become tense and irritable of late. The statements of the key maker, the house helps and his friends are being recorded. Police are also looking into his phone. More details are awaited.
