Amidst the Coronavirus outbreak, Bollywood celebrities such as Akshay Kumar and Sonu Sood reached out to help people through these tough times. While Akshay Kumar provided 1000 wrist bands to Mumbai Police, actress Sonakshi Sinha today (through her twitter handle) announced her partnership with ‘Fankind’ and has said to auction her art to raise funds for poor and migrant people. The initiative, ‘Bid for good’ is said to have gained popularity, minutes after it was announced.
Her art not only consists of sketches and large canvas paintings but digital prints as well. The twitter account of Fankind confirmed the news by sharing the pictures of the artwork and urged people to bid their hearts out for the cause. In a series of tweets, Fankind shared the auction in three different sections comprising canvas, prints, and sketches. The highest bidder will be declared as the winner by the end of the bidding process.

In a time, when the pandemic has affected a large number of people, the government is bringing out relief packages in large numbers. While the government is playing their part, this initiative might be an added aid for the people most affected; the migrant workers and labourers. The funds raised through this auction will be used to buy ration kits for these daily wage workers.
