Due to rumours of their romance, Guru Randhawa and Shehnaaz Gill have been in the news for more than a year. Guru and Shehnaaz were teased by the media for their obvious chemistry as they stood together on the red carpet at the Thank You For Coming pre-release event. Though there was much enthusiasm, neither Guru nor Shehnaaz addressed the rumours, and the conversation eventually subsided.
In an exclusive chat with a popular news platform, he shared, “I feel very good about it when people talk about my dating life. Fans link me with beautiful girls all over the world, so it feels great, every boy wants that attention.”
Their second single, Sunrise, which they released in January of this year, piqued fans’ curiosity even more. Moreover, their stunning Instagram photos often leave people curious about their relationship.
Guru did not address the rumours regarding his supposed relationship to Shehnaaz, but he did declare, “I want people to keep talking about my love life for me. Even if I’m not dating anyone right now, due of this news, I could start dating shortly. If the reader of this interview is a woman, I am single. But if the reader is a male, I’m sold.”
He made it clear earlier that he is currently single in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha. He quickly made it clear, though, that he is open to falling in love. “I am someone who is always in love. Love is a great emotion. Everybody should fall in love. I believe that even if someone does not reciprocate your love, you should still feel for them. “After all, one-sided love is love,” he said.
Reflecting on his youth, he said that he dated a certain person while in high school and college. “I have had college crushes. Mere paas bhi aakhein hai, dil hai (laughter). Much like everyone else, I had a particular someone at college, and even at school, there was a girl whose eyes I couldn’t stop looking at. In fact, my first date was on a bus on my way home from college,” giggles Guru, who admits to having a major crush on Kareena Kapoor Khan.
With Saiee Manjrekar in the film Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay, the singer recently made his acting debut.
