Good news for Shah Rukh Khan fans! Yes, you have heard it right. King Khan after being inactive for a while, will make a come back with Rajkumar Hirani. Although he played a cameo in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming movie Brahmastra, rumours has it that he will work with Rajkumar Hirani for his next film.
In a recent report in Mumbai Mirror, it is said that Shah Rukh Khan is all set to go back to Punjab for Rajkumar Hirani’s next film. It is stated in the reports that it is a social comedy movie on immigration. Khan will play a role of a jolly and happy guy who will move from Punjab to Canada. The movie was supposed to go on floor by August 2020. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic the schedule has will be changed. Te director and Shah Rukh are waiting for the travel restrictions to be eased out to chalk out the new schedule for the film for the international location.
Furthermore, it is said that the film is written by Kanika Dhillon and Rajkumar Hirani with Abhijat Joshi. They are giving the final touch to the script. . A source told the daily, “Like all Raju films, it revolves around a serious, globally relevant issue and is treated with gentle humour. The story moves between Punjab and Canada. This guy is jovial, he’ll make you laugh and get emotional. Shah Rukh is growing his hair for the part.” Further, the source revealed, “The film requires a long outdoor shoot abroad and they will wait till travel restrictions are eased. If things get back to normal soon, it should kick off before the year ends.”
Aside from this, the report also mentioned that SRK has also signed up for Raj & Krishna DK’s cool action film. Rumours are that Shah Rukh is interested in an action film helmed by Sidharth Anand.
