Dipika Kakar, who became a household name after appearing in the hit Television serial “Sasural Simar Ka”, will be bidding her final goodbye to her acting career to dedicate all her time and attention to her family and soon-to-be-born ‘Baby’, as per the reports by Telly Chakkar.
In a recent interview, the actress revealed, “I am enjoying this phase of pregnancy and welcoming our first child. The excitement is on another level. I started working at a very young age and continued for about 10 – 15 years at a stretch. As my pregnancy journey began, I told Shoaib that I don’t want to work and want to quit acting. I want to live a life as a housewife and mother.”
After becoming the winner of the Bigg Boss season 12, Dipika Kakar was seen in Star Plus’s ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’ alongside Karan Grover.
Dipika met her husband Ibrahim on the set of Sasural Simar and eventually fell in love. After dating for a bit, the duo decided to get married and tied the knot in 2018. And in January 2023, the couple took to their respective Social Media accounts to share the news of Dipika’s pregnancy and soon-to-be-born child. The couple posted, “Sharing this news with you all with our hearts full of gratitude, happiness, excitement, and also nervousness. Humari life ka ye sabse khoobsurat phase hai (the most beautiful phase of our lives). Yessss, we are expecting our first child! Going to embrace parenthood soon. Aapki saari dua on aur pyaar ki zaroorat hai (We need a lot of your prayers and love) for our little one.”
