When Allu Arjun returned home from jail today morning, he had a rather emotional reunion with his family. The actor can be seen hugging his children and wife, Sneha Reddy, who evidently got emotional over his return. He was arrested on Friday in connection to Sandhya theatre stampede case, where a woman, Revathi, 35, lost her life. Several celebrities including Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vignesh Shivan reacted to the video of his emotional reunion.
A video has been making rounds on the social media showcasing his brother Allu Sirish running towards him to hug him first upon Allu Arjun’s return. The star then hugged his children – Ayaan and Arha – and later hugged his wife, who broke down during their lengthy hug.
Samantha shared the video on her Instagram Story, and wrote, “I am not crying, okay!” with teary eyed emoji.
Vignesh also seemed to be moved by the emotional scene, as he wrote, “waited only to see this.” He also mentioned, “With heartfelt condolences to the family. Very very unfortunate to go through this… but the way he handled this was very mature and dignified.”
