Salman Khan reviewed Kiran Rao’s latest film, Laapataa Ladies, very well. Starring in the independent film under Aamir Khan’s production are Ravi Kishan, Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goel, Sparsh Shrivastava, and Chhaya Kadam.
Salman took to X, the former name for Twitter, to share how much he loved the movie. Salman stated that he saw the movie with Salim Khan, his father, and that he too thought it was good.
But there was a serious mistake in his review. When Kiran made her feature film debut in 2010 with Dhobi Ghat, Salman thought Laapataa Ladies was her directing debut instead.
“Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. Congrats on your debut as a director, superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath?”Salman Khan wrote a tweet to Kiran.
Later on, multiple social media users pointed out his mistake to him after the tweet. They even mentioned that Salman was present at the film’s premiere, reminding him that Dhobi Ghat was Kiran Rao’s debut.
