Salman Khan house firing case: Both shooters condemned to 10-day police custody by Mumbai court

Both shooters, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) were brought to Mumbai earlier today under tight security.

On Tuesday, a Mumbai court sentenced two gunmen detained in Gujarat’s Bhuj for allegedly firing bullets outside Salman Khan’s house to ten days in police detention. Both shooters, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) were brought to Mumbai earlier today under tight security.

The shooting incident at Galaxy apartments occurred on a Sunday morning and allegedly included these two assailants, who opened fire 4-5 rounds outside the building about 4-5 a.m. before fleeing the area. A total of 12 police teams were organised, and an inquiry into the problem began immediately.

According to sources, the accused fled Mumbai on a public bus. They purposefully avoided returning to their hometown, knowing that the authorities would be looking for them. Instead, they went to Kutch and stayed with relatives in the Mata No Madh hamlet.

During their travel to Kutch, the suspects wisely disposed of the pistol used in the attack. They threw the weapon in a river near Surat. Furthermore, after arriving in Kutch, both individuals had their haircuts and shaves done in an attempt to conceal their identities and avoid detection.

The shooters was apprehended yesterday as a result of a joint operation between the Mumbai Crime Branch and the Gujarat police in Bhuj. The Bhuj police subsequently turned over the accused to the Mumbai police for further investigation.
