Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan have collaborated for a Coca Cola ad, however, due to their busy schedules, the director of the ad, Ali Abbas Zafar, had to shoot both their segments separately. This could have been the first time that both superstars would have shared screen space, however, their work commitments had some other plans. While the actors have never collaborated for a movie, they have worked together on Karan Arjun, wherein Salman was one of the lead actors, and Hrithik served as Assistant Director under his father and director, Rakesh Roshan.
Hrithik is currently busy shooting for War 2, which will be an addition to Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe, while Salman is busy with shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikander, which is being directed by AR Murugadoss. Due to their busy schedule, the director found it near impossible to get dates of both stars at same time.
As per an industry insider, the brand was keen onto getting both Hrithik and Salman, and owing to their work commitments, shooting separately was the only viable option.
Meanwhile, Salman’s Sikander, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna is slated to release on Eid 2025. On the other hand, Hrithik’s War 2, also starring Kiara Advani, is eyeing Independence Day weekend for its release.
