Saif Ali Khan and family receives temporary police protection since attack on actor

Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati hospital after he was stabbed  six times by an intruder during the wee hours on January 16. The actor is now back home and doing fine but the family have amped up his security by hiring Ronit Roy’s security agency. One also witnessed CCTV cameras being installed at their house and building now.

Meanwhile, now it has also been learned that police is providing temporary protection to Saif, wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their kids. They have been provided with two constables each who shall ensure their safety when they go outdoors, said the police.

Further ahead, the Bandra police station has also increasing patrolling and vigil, both on foot and using vehicles in the high profile locality of Bandra where most actor reside. Even the visitor spots will be monitored on hourly basis.

Deputy commissioner of police, Dikshit Gedam, said, “Bandra is a sage. There are five beats of police stations in the area which conduct round the clock patrolling,  including visiting major spots on an hourly basis.”

The police is yet to record Saif’s statement over the unfortunate incident. The actor has been discharged from the hospital since Tuesday.
