Before marrying Abhinav Shukla in the year 2018, Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rubina Dilaik was in a relationship with television actor, Avinash Sachdev and was about to get married to him. Rubina and Avinash are said to have started with a rough patch between each other as they did not exchange a single word even over a time span of three months after the shooting of the show, Chhoti Bahu, started.
According to media reports, both of the actors marked each other as arrogant during the shoot but soon broke the cold behaviour towards each other during an outdoor shoot for the show after which, Rubina and Avinash started sharing about each other’s life. They soon became good friends and carried the torch of their relation to the next level as well. Avinash expressed his wish to marry Rubina to his grandfather who was the head of the family. Avinash’s grandfather gave him a thumbs up for his decision.
Soon after this, rumours started making rounds of them secretly tying the knot with each other, but Rubina and Avinash scratched those out. However, this was followed by the trouble as speculations rose of Avinash being involved with some other TV actress. This created a major crack in their relationship which the couple even tried to fill in, but decided to let go at the end of the day.
Talking about the breakup, Rubina was quoted saying, “The experiences, heartbreak and downfall in my life has made me a stronger woman. I emerged stronger. At that point in time I didn’t realize it. I grudged, sulked and asked why this happened to me. That lamenting had to come to a closure someday because that’s not me. I believe in evolution. But now I am very grateful that it happened to me and I went through that bad patch in my life. Because from there on I determined to become a better person. I have no grudges, regrets and I completely owe up to the responsibility that the heartbreak happened to me. I am thankful as had this not happened I would have not seen the beauty of a new relationship. I believe that’s how we grow in life. The one important lesson that I have learnt in my life is that embrace life as it comes.”
