It is the second television adaptation of the franchise after the animated miniseries Infinite Darkness (2021), and the third live-action adaptation after the film series of the same name and the reboot film Welcome to Raccoon City (2021).  (According to Wikipedia)

According to one entertainment website Deadline, the decision of ceasing the series was not suddenly taken but the gradual outcome after hitting the screens after its premier on 14th July didn’t exceed with the expectation it upheld before releasing, the ultimate interest in the audiences the popularity in the mass led this to do it. Moreover, it neither featured on the streamer’s Top 10 Trends list and that can be concluded another big reason to cut the chain.

The story depicts a resident Evil Jade Wesker (played by Ella Balinska) in the post-apocalyptic world of 2036 who is haunted by her past in New York City, her father’s horrifying connection to Umbrella’s Corporation, and most of all, what happened to her sister Billy. Starring Lance Reddick, Tamara Smart, Sienna Agdon, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuñez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gosatti and Taro Combery. Produced by Andrew Dove starring Mary Leah Sutton. Robert Kulzer and Oliver Verben of Constantine Films also served as executive producers on the series.
