Raveena Tandon’s striking response to a troll; says, “I have travelled in train, got eve teased and pinched”

Raveena Tandon opened up about her experience using public transportation in Mumbai.

After a user questioned her understanding of the city’s middle-class struggles, actor Raveena Tandon opened up about her experience using public transportation in Mumbai. Referring to Maharashtra deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis’ decision to relocate the Metro 3 car shed to Mumbai’s Aarey forest, the user tagged Raveena and Dia Mirza as opponents of the development. The tweet said,”Do elite @Deespeak @TandonRaveenaknow the struggle of middle class Mumbaikars?”
To which Raveena responded by saying, “Teen years, traveled in locals/buses, got eve teased, pinched, and everything that most women go through, earned my first car in 1992. Development is welcome; however, we must be responsible not only for a project but also wherever we are cutting through forests to protect the environment and wildlife.” While tagging a video of a man falling from a local train.
However, Raveena expressed her optimism for the future, putting her faith in the government to protect the public’s interests, safety, and convenience.
Aside from Raveena, several other Bollywood celebrities, including Shraddha Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Dia Mirza, Richa Chadha, and Urmila Matondkar, had previously spoken out against the removal of hundreds of trees in Mumbai’s Aarey Colony for the metro project.
Former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray halted construction and appointed a panel to investigate alternative options.
