Rakhi Sawant recently underwent surgery to remove a tumour in her uterus, and her former spouse Ritesh Singh has posted a video of her walking for the first time since the operation. In the video, Rakhi can be seen screaming in pain and being unable to walk despite support from the hospital staff.
On Monday, Ritesh turned to Instagram to offer an update on Rakhi’s condition, informing her fans that she had walked for the first time since her operation on May 18. Rakhi was hurried to the hospital after experiencing abdominal pain. A 10 cm tumour was discovered in her uterus and needed to be removed immediately.
In a recent hospital video, Rakhi can be seen appearing unrecognisable after surgery and in great pain as she attempts to move with some assistance. The Main Hoon Naa actress sobbed in the video as she struggled to take steps.
The physicians and Ritesh can be heard telling her to stand straight and take modest steps without stressing herself out.
“Mai bahut khus hu, rakhi ji jaldi he hamare beech hongi. Aaj unko initial walk karte dekh acha laga. Thanks to god and Janta,” Ritesh captioned the video.
Following Rakhi’s successful surgery, Ritesh stated that the tumour was the size of a hand and was submitted to a lab for cancer analysis. He also mentioned that he had fasted for the actress’ health.
Rakhi’s mother, who had been battling illness for years, died in 2023.
