The mother of Rakhi Sawant passed away late on Saturday night. Mother of the actress, Jaya Bheda, passed away from endometrial cancer in a Mumbai hospital. Rakhi delivered the breaking news along with a wrenching hospital video. Rakhi is seen in the video meditating on the floor as her mother snoozes on the bed. The actress announced the passing by posting the footage on her Instagram page.
“Aaj meri maa ka haat sar se uth gaya.. Or mere pass khone ke liye kuch nhi bacha.. I love you MAA.. Aap ke bina kuch nhi raha,ab koun meri pukar sunega or koun mujhe gale lagayega maa.. Ab Mai kya karu…kaha jauuuu.. I miss you Aai,” she wrote. Netizens and celebrities alike came forward to extend support to Rakhi. Rahul Vaidya, Jasleen Matharu, Pavitra Punia and Jackkie Shroff among others condoled the demise.
The Internet has also seen videos of Rakhi bringing her mother’s lifeless remains to their home. Rakhi was spotted sobbing hysterically as she lamented the death of her cherished mother. She told the photographers who had gathered around her about her mother’s dying and even mentioned that she had been in a lot of agony the day before. She was comforted by her pals and received the much-needed emotional support as she was heard stating, “Maa ab nahi rahi.” Rakhi was later overheard searching for Adil Durrani, her husband. She even questioned her pal “Adil Kahaan hai? Adil ko phone karo.” She added that Sunday would be the day of the funeral ceremonies.
The mother of Rakhi, Jaya Bheda, was found to have both cancer and a brain tumour. The Criticare Multispeciality Hospital in Juhu treated her while she was in the hospital.
According to Deepak Namjoshi, pulmonologist, and head of CritiCare Asia Multispecialty Hospital & Research Center, Juhu, Bheda, 73, passed at about 9 o’clock. Sawant’s mother suffered from stage 4 endometrial cancer that had spread to her brain, lungs, and liver. She was admitted a few weeks ago. She was initially treated at another hospital before being sent here, he said, according to PTI.
Rakhi frequently visited her mother in the hospital. Rakhi is best recognised for her roles in Shah Rukh Khan’s “Main Hoon Na” and the Salman Khan-hosted reality series “Bigg Boss.”
