Rajkummar Rao takes part in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign ahead of 75th Independence Day

Rajkummar Rao took to Instagram to show photos of himself participating in the government’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to commemorate India’s 75th year of independence. He invites people to fly the tricolour in their houses to commemorate India’s historic freedom years. In the photograph, he is seen staring respectfully and lovingly at the national flag.

“National flag flies higher and higher,” he captioned his image. To 75 years of national freedom, strength, and success. Let us all do our part to lift the national flag aloft.” He tweeted with the hashtag #HappyIndependenceDay. He previously uploaded a photo of himself clutching a trophy after receiving the Best Actor award for Ludo at the ITA Awards.

RajKummar Rao recently uploaded a holiday photo on Instagram with his actor-wife Patralekhaa that included a peek of the Eiffel Tower. The pair was photographed enjoying most of their trip in France.

Rajkummar made his acting debut in Love Sex Aur Dhokha (2010), but he rose to prominence as a supporting actor in Gangs of Wasseypur-Part 2 and Talaash: The Answer Lies Within (2012). He also appeared in films like as Kai Po Che, Shahid, Queen, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Aligarh, Ludo, Newton, The White Tiger, and Stree. Shahid earned Rajkummar the National Film Award.

Rajkummar Rao is currently filming Sharan Sharma’s Mr And Mrs Mahi with Janhvi Kapoor. Rajkummar is also in several more films, including Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed, Abhishek Jain’s Second Innings, the Shrikanth Bolla biography, and Hansal Mehta’s Swagat Hai.
