Raghu Ram draws comparison between India’s Got Latent and AIB Roast after being on both shows

Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent, has landed in a massive controversy, which has forced the comedian to delete all the episodes from his YouTube channel. Raghu Ram of Roadies fame appeared as a guest on the show, presumably before the whole drama erupted, and has now shared his experience. He said that his appearance might have offended others, but he found it to be a “cathartic” experience.

In a conversation with YouTube channel, GPlus, the Roadies fame said that he is not a comedian, and has also been on the infamous AIB Roast as well. “The Latent experience was quite cathartic for me. This is a big word so let me you why. After many years, I felt like I opened up. The environment was so unrestrained, there were no restrictions and you can have fun without any fear because there, no one takes you seriously,” he stated.

Raghu then proceeded to share that when he recently visited a school for his son’s admission, the teacher recognized him and as he was leaving he was told, “‘I loved you in Latent’ and I was like ‘why did you watch it?'”

Drawing comparison to AIB Roast, he said that at the 2014 roast show everyone was insulting each other but no one took it seriously.
