Parth Samthaan is a renowned face of TV recognised for his roles like ‘Manik Malhotra’ and lastly ‘Anurag Basu’. Actor was alleged to be quitting the daily soap – Kasauti Zindagii Kay 2 on which he had been working lately for an upcoming Bollywood project. According to a report of SpotboyE, the film for which Samthaan would be leaving the TV show is none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ which has Alia Bhatt in a centric role of a brothel owner.
“Parth has signed his first Bollywood project opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. Parth is extremely excited about his filmy debut with the big banner,” as put by a source of SpotboyE. However, the character played by Parth Samthaan is not revealed yet but getting a break in the movies with magnificent director is something he is looking forward to. He is also working on his digital project which is Alt Balaji’s ‘Main Hero Boll Raha Hu.’
On the side note, film Gangubai Kathiawadi was expected to be released in the month of September itself, however is believed to be pushed due to pandemic situation. The posters of the same were out back in January where Alia Bhatt is seen in an attire of ‘Mafia Queen.’
