Pankaj Tripathi lends support to NCB to spread awareness on International Day against drug abuse

Pankaj Tripathi has vowed to help the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, says, “its my social responsibility”

Actor Pankaj Tripathi on Saturday pledged to assist the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), on the event of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. He says authorities from NCB Patna Zonal Unit have contacted him for the assist against  cause.

The Mirzapur actor explained, “The people from NCB Patna reached out to me for this cause, and anything that is correlated with Bihar and in society concerns, I personally have the interest to lend my assistance for such movements and awareness creation campaigns.”

Pankaj said it is his social duty to fulfil his responsibility. “Cinema is one of the favourite mediums of the youngster, and as an actor, if we activate any awareness campaign it may reach out to maximum people, establishing more impact. It’s a social duty for me as an actor and as a citizen to fulfil my duty as much as I can,” he said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pankaj Tripathi was latest seen in biographical comedy-drama ‘Kaagaz’ along with Sandeepa Dhar, Monal Gajjar, Amar Upadhyay and the film was helmed by Satish Kaushik who also played the role of advocate in the movie. Tripathi was also seen in the Hotstar Specials series Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors. He has two upcoming movies in the pipeline- Kabir Khan’s sports drama 83 with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, and Farhad Samji’s Bachchan Pandey.
