Netizens react to Shah Rukh Khan after raising his hands in dua at Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral

The veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s last rites were performed at the Shivaji Park, Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelled to Mumbai to pay his last respects to the Bharat Ratna recipient.

Various other celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Sachi Tendulkar, Shraddha Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty and Ranbir Kapoor were also present.

To pay the homage, Shah Rukh Khan went up to Lata Ji with his manager Pooja Dadlani. They both paid homage in their own different way. Pooja Dadlani was seen with joined hands, whereas Shah Rukh Khan raised his hands to offer dua.

A third fan wrote, “Proud to be a fan of Shah Rukh Khan. That’s it that’s a tweet.” Another tweeted, “Best example of secular India.”

The other part of netizen reacted in an unexpected way by trolling Shah Rukh Khan for spitting after dua.

“Can’t believe SRK spitted on #LataDidi’s body while paying his “last respect” to her… Even if your Mazhab teaches you this, practice this at your home or with your own people…” a Twitter user wrote.
