This is a merciless year! Just in the previous month we were shocked to know about Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor’s passing one day after the other and yet again in this month, there have been two deaths back to back. This morning, we reported about the demise of Kahani Ghar Ghar ki actor Sahin Kumar, and now, we got one more shocking news of another TV actor.
Tv actor Manmeet Grewal, who worked in shows like Sony SAB’s ‘Aadat Se Majboor’ and Tv shows like ‘Kuldeepak’ committed suicide by hanging himself on Friday Night. (15th May).
He was suffering from depression because his earnings were hit due to on-going corona-virus. It is being reported, because of the pandemic, he was unable to find work and hence, his income was majorly affected due to that. He was also debt-trapped, financially strapped and couldn’t pay the rent of his apartment.
He lived with his wife in a small apartment in Navi Mumbai’s Khakar.
Meanwhile his co-star Anuj Pandit told Spotboye, “I also got to know about this disappointing news via one of our co-stars and it is something unbelievable. He was one of the most jolly people I have come across. When we used to shoot for our show, you could never make out even if he is stressed. May his soul rest in peace but I can’t believe he is not with us anymore,”
