Actor Mrunal Thakur recently tested positive for Covid-19, as she confirmed the news on 1st January. However, the Jersey actress was quite swamped for promoting the film.
Ms. Thakur recently opened up about her quarantine days, “I had mild symptoms but it’s physically draining. But what’s more draining is isolation. Our lives are so hectic, and suddenly getting 14 days of rest was something I was unable to digest. I can’t wait to bounce back to work.” Moreover, she shared her view on another lockdown, “I’m mentally prepared for a lockdown. Health comes first. It’s said that jaan hai toh jaahaan hai. We’ve to accept everything it takes to stay safe and healthy.”
About the release of their upcoming film ‘Jersey,’ Mrunal stated, “There’s nothing we could do, looking for the silver lining. The audience was enraged and cursed the coronavirus. I looked through their social media remarks because I had so much time now. To be honest, there’s no purpose in releasing a film if no one will watch it. It deserves to be appreciated in front of a live audience. I’m sure it’ll be an excellent picture to watch after the pandemic.”
For the unversed, Mrunal Thakur was featured in movies like Love Sonia, Super 30, Batla House, Toofan, Dhamaka among others.
