Sienna Weir, a Miss Universe finalist and model, died at the age of 23 in a tragic horse-riding accident.
Sienna Weir is a model from Australia. She was well known as one of the finalists for the 2022 Australian Miss Universe contest. She was 23 years old. The young woman made headlines recently when she died on May 4, 2023. Since then, her admirers, friends, and family have been flooding social media with tributes and condolences.
Her modelling agency, Scoop Management, also confirmed her death by posting a sequence of photos on Instagram with the caption, “Forever in our hearts.”
According to reports, Ms. Weir’s horse crashed while she was riding at the Australian Windsor Polo Grounds on April 2. She apparently spent several weeks on life support due to her injuries before being removed on Thursday, 4 May .
She had previously expressed her enthusiasm for riding horses in an interview with Coast Magazine. Seinna explained that her family isn’t sure where her enthusiasm for horses developed from, but she has been riding since she was three years old and can’t imagine her life without it. Every other weekend, she travels to rural Sydney two to three times a week to train and compete in New South Wales or Australia.
Sienna Weir was one of 27 finalists in the 2022 Australian Miss Universe pageant. She graduated from Sydney University with a double major in English literature and psychology. She earlier informed local media that she intended to relocate to the United Kingdom to further her career, spend more time with her sister, niece, and nephew, and improve both her professional and social network.
