Late actor Irrfan Khan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar tests positive for COVID-19. She also opened up about the death of the late actor’s aunt.

Sutapa Sikdar, wife of late Irrfan Khan, who is a writer and producer. Irrfan-starrer “Madaari” was produced by Sutapa Sikdar, alongside, Irrfan Khan, Shailja Kejriwal, Shailesh R. Singh and Madan Paliwal.

However, Sutapa confirmed her covid positive report. She also gave a health update to her fans and followers on social media. The post read, “I am covid positive. When you hear it’s positive just as you open your eyes, I was rest assured it is going to be a negative day.”

The 54-year-old woman also opened up about the death of the late actor’s aunt. She used to call her as Mumani Saab. Unfortunately, she could not attend her funeral due to the detection of covid. Moreover, Ms. Sikdar was seen mourning at the loss of their aunt.

She further said that Irrfan would love his aunt very much. Their relationship was very good with her. When they first shifted to Mumbai, they stayed at her home. Sikdar also said, “Aunt used to call me Shutoba. This name will ring in my ears making me remember of the her calling my name.”  Sikdar further stated, “Aunt was one of the rare people she saw always smiling. She left us for the forward journey today.” She also regrated, “I was not able to pay last respect to her. Aunt was a simple, uncomplicated, beautiful woman.”

‘Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji un’ these were the words by her. In goodbye she says Alvida. She wished to see her one last time, after staying in the same city. Sutapa lastly said, “Please pray for her, she was a good soul indeed”.
