Actress Kirti Kulhari, on Monday announced her debut as a producer in an upcoming dark comedy thriller feature film ‘Nayeka’. After her breathkaing performances in bollywood movies such as ‘Pink’ and ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ and web shows such as ‘Four More Shots Please’ and ‘Crminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors’, the actress is all set to try her hands on production.
Kirti has launched her production house, Kintsukuroi Films, which means the art of mending broken things with gold to make it even more beautiful. She stated, “WE have our plans for LIFE and then LIFE has its plans for US . The last couple of years have taught me to align my plans with life’s plans and go with the flow. Never had I imagined that I would be standing here . The beginning of the year 2022 marks the beginning of my journey AS A PRODUCER.”
The shooting of the movie ‘Nayeka’ has started on January 2, which portrays a story of a budding actress who gets caught up in a crime and crazy series of events by mistake. The lead role in the movie is played by Kirti, while Sharad Kelkar is the co-star. The movie is directed and written by Ajaykiran Nair.
With her new production house, Kirti aims to create an equal working atmosphere in the industry and to provide opportunities to young and budding artists.
Meanwhile, Kirti Kulhari and Shefali Shah’s medical thriller, ‘Human’ is all set to premier on Disney+Hotstar on January 14.
