Actress Katrina Kaif is the latest addition to the list of Bollywood celebrities who have tested COVID-19 positive. This news comes just one day after her alleged boyfriend Vicky Kaushal was diagnosed with Coronavirus. Katrina has confirmed her test result on her social media handle.
She wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care.”
Many Bollywood actors including Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar have tested COVID-19 positive in the last month. Katrina Kaif will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi along with Akshay Kumar. The release of the movie has been postponed due to the second wave of the pandemic and the lockdown-like situation in Maharashtra.
