Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit reunited for a dance at a gathering recently. Instead of the “dance of envy,” the two actors and former co-stars were spotted swaying to the “dance of friendship.” In 1997, Karisma and Madhuri co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s love musical Dil To Pagal Hai. Kareena Kapoor called them “The OG SuperStars,” and other Instagram users reacted with red heart emoticons to Karisma’s video and photographs of the two dancing online.
Madhuri is dressed for the outdoor celebration in a long orange patterned dress with a belt. Karisma is dressed in a dark salwar kurta and round sunglasses. Both actors put on their hair in buns.
The actor posted the dance video to Instagram, along with a couple images and a selfie of themselves. She captioned her post, “Dance of Envy (crossed out) Friendship (check mark, red heart, sparkles and hug emojis) #dtph #dancepartner #forever.” While there is no sound in the video, both of them appear to be doing the film’s Le Gayi Le Gayi step. There are further images of Karisma and Madhuri Dixit dancing, as well as one of the two embracing after the dance. The final image is a selfie taken indoors.
