After the tiring days and nights for nearly a decade Ayan Mukerji is finally way to put an end to the quest  inaugurating his Brahmastra this coming September featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The film was first announced in 2014 and in between the years it’s expected to have raised up to a spectacular level.

The film synopsis reads “A young man on the brink of falling in love gets his world turned upside down when he discovers he has the power to control fire and a connection to a secret society of guardians.”

Karan Johar extends his good wishes towards the film.  ‘I am very very excited for Brahmastra. It is a huge endeavour taken on by Ayan. I would say the most hard-working filmmaker that I have ever seen. Brahmastra is so special to us. It’s something, really. What we’re putting out there is hopefully a never been seen spectacle. Ayan has worked tirelessly for seven years on this project and visualised it for 10 years,” he told to India Today.

Brahmastra is also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. It reportedly has cameos from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
