Amidst the several failures at the box office, the recently released movie ‘Seeta Ramam’ has gained a grand commercial success. It’s receiving plentiful compliments and applause among the audiences as well as from the public figures.
The former vice president Venkaiah Naidu, South Indian actor Cheeranjeevi, the ‘Bahubali’ Prabhash, Anushka Shetty and now one of the most paid actresses of India exceptionally talented Kangna Ranaut lauds at the film. She conveys her heartfelt appreciation for the team and especially the female lead actor Mrunal Thakur. She also affirms she’s much excited to watch the Hindi version of the film.
Under the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi, the lead actor is Dalquer Salmaan alongside Mrunal Thakur where Rashmika Mandanna can also be seen in a pivotal role. Reportedly has minted over ₹78 crore at the box office.
On Thursday , 1st September, taking to her Instagram story ‘Dhakkad’, ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ hitmaker Kangana shared the film’s trailer and wrote, “Congratulations Mrunal Thakur for a spectacular performance and the whole team of Seeta Ramam for its grand success.” She added,” eagerly waiting to watch it in Hindi.”
According to one source the movie synopsis reads, “Set in 1964, the movie follows an orphan army officer, Lieutenant Ram, serving at the Kashmir border. He gets anonymous letters from his ladylove Sita Mahalakshmi and embarks on a mission to find her and propose his love. Bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, it hit theatres on August 5.”
Earlier in a chat with Pinkvilla, Dulquer Salmaan spoke about the film and his intense chemistry with Mrunal Thakur. He stated “Sita Ramam is a classic love story. I have heard scripts across the industries but this is one of a kind. I think from the time of hearing the script and transporting it to the magical times, we have created some very memorable moments. Every day on the sets, it was like a moment of being happy as an actor,”
