The makers of the highly anticipated pan-Indian film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ gave a sneak peek at Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan’s part in the much-anticipated science fiction blockbuster.
After the poster, a teaser was released on Sunday, and fans were captivated by Big B’s enigmatic portrayal, causing a social media frenzy.
With a staggering budget of 600 crores, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever, reports indicate that a significant amount was given to the performers’ salaries. According to estimates, Amitabh Bachchan is earning an astounding 18 crores for his involvement in the film.
Amitabh Bachchan shared his thoughts on the unique experience of filming for Kalki on Instagram, saying, “It’s been an experience for me like no other. The mind to think such a product, the execution, the exposure to modern technology, and above all, the company of colleagues with stratospheric Superstar presence.”
Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, features a star-studded cast that includes South phenomenon Prabhas in the lead role, as well as industry veterans Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. It is set for a global theatrical release on June 20, 2024.
