Juhi Chawla shares Shah Rukh Khan’s health update: ‘He is feeling better and will attend IPL final in Chennai’

According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan will leave the hospital in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is improving after being sent to the hospital in Ahmedabad due to dehydration, according to actress and Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Juhi Chawla. Shortly after it was announced that Shah Rukh was ill, the actress went to KD Hospital on Wednesday to see him.

According to a PTI story, the actor is expected to return home on Thursday, despite some media reports claiming he was released from the hospital on May 22. We are awaiting an official confirmation from the hospital.


“Shah Rukh was not feeling too well on Tuesday night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better. God willing, he will soon be up and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” Juhi told News18.

The actor complained of discomfort from dehydration and was taken to the hospital immediately. On May 21, he travelled to Ahmedabad to see the KKR play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The actor was shown waving to supporters from the stadium in a number of photos and videos that went viral following KKR’s eight-wicket victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Qualifier 1. Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan, his children, went with him.

According to reports, a severe heatwave has been plaguing numerous districts of Gujarat. On Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, Ahmedabad reported maximum temperatures of 45.2 and 45.9 degrees Celsius.

Regarding his career, Shah Rukh’s upcoming project is an action thriller movie called The King. The director is going to be Sujoy Ghosh. The movie has a budget of Rs 200 crore, according to reports. Shah Rukh is supposedly going to play his daughter Suhana’s mentor in The King. The creators haven’t made any formal announcements yet, though.
