Lizzo has had enough of online negativity.
The singer shared a lengthy note on her Instagram handle saying, “I’m getting tired of putting up wit being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet.” The Grammy winner, in her statement on Friday, asserted that she wanted to do was to make music, make people happy, and make the world a better place, however, she has been lately feeling that the world does not want her in it.
She explained that she is always up against the lies being told against her for “clout & views.” Lizzo added that she feels the butt of the every joke because of the way she look, and is feared her character is “being picked apart” by someone who does not even know her.
Lizzo concluded her note with a straightforward message, “I didn’t sign up for this s–t — I QUIT.”
