The Mumbai Police have detained Vikas Fhatak, who is better known as Hindustani Bhau. Vikas is arrested for allegedly instigating students to protest. As he protests against the offline examinations for classes 10 and 12. The participants in the demonstration were also caught up.
According to reports, once Fhatak’s video went popular on social media, the students marched to the streets of the city. Students are protesting in Mumbai and Nagpur after advocating in favor of online tests for grades 10 and 12. They also demonstrate in huge numbers near School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad’s Dharavi house.
In his video, YouTuber invited students to congregate in Dharavi. On Monday, the police declare that they will pursue charges against him. In light of the COVID 19 pandemic, Hindustani Bhau allegedly posted a video of himself on Instagram. The video is on inciting pupils to demand online examinations for classes 10th and 12th, according to a report by the news agency ANI. The FIR is filed against the social media celebrity. It is under different provisions of the Indian Penal Code (including rioting), the Maharashtra Police Act, the Disaster Management Act, and the Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act.
Hindustani Bhau stated in his video, “If anyone hurts religious sentiments, then the system will decide later, first they will decide in their own way.”
