Rhea Chakraborty pertains to a middle-class Bengali family in Bengaluru where her dad, Indrajit Chakraborty has worked 25 years in the Indian Army and her mama is a homemaker. She did her education at the Army Public School in Ambala. She sought her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Media. Rhea’s journey in Bollywood commenced with her debut in a reality program on MTV named the ‘TVS Scooty Teen Diva’. Rhea arose as the first runner-up in this show post which she was seen as a VJ in numerous shows like MTV Gone in 60 seconds, Pepsi MTV Wassup, etc.

In the year 2012, she rendered her acting debut in a Telugu film, ‘Tuneega Tuneega’. Nonetheless, this film did not do satisfactorily at the box office. She made her debut in Bollywood with the movie, ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ in the year 2013. However this film did not do extremely well at the box office, it was a reasonable hit.

In the year 2014, she played Sonali in the film Sonali Cable and 2017, she appeared in the movie ‘Bank Chor’ followed by her role in the film ‘Jalebi’ in 2018.

Moreover, Rhea Chakraborty topped the list of ‘The Times Most Desirable Women’ in 2020.
