Gwyneth Paltrow jokingly cursed at Bill Clinton in a new interview.
The Shakespeare in Love actress, on Thursday during her appearance on Hot Ones, was asked about a long standing rumor that the former president passed out during a White House screening of her 1996 film Emma.
Confirming it to the host Sean Evans, the actress stated, “True. He was snoring right in front of me… I was like, ‘Wow, I guess this is going to be a real hit movie’.”
“But it was,” she quipped, “So f–k you, Bill Clinton!”
The film, which was based on beloved Jane Austen novel, chronicles around a young woman in the 19th century England with intention of setting her friends up with potential spouses.
The movie also starred Toni Collette, Alan Cumming, Jeremy Northam, and Greta Scacchi.
