Gypsy Rose Blanchard announces separation from husband Ryan Scott Anderson 3 months after releasing from jail

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Scott Anderson have called off their marriage.

On Thursday, Gypsy announced via a private Facebook post, which has been obtained by PEOPLE, that announces that she and her husband of more than a year have separated three months after she was released from the prison.

As per the post, Gypsy is living in her family home for the time being as they explore time apart.

“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou,” she penned. She continued that she has her family and friends supporting in this time as she needs time to find her true self. “I am learning to listen to my heart.”

The update on her personal life comes around 3 months after she was released from jail. She was ordered to serve seven years behind bars, after she pleaded guilty in 2016 of murdering her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. While in the prison, she began corresponding to Ryan and the ultimately tied the knot in July 2022.
