A Facebook post purportedly uploaded by Anmol Bishnoi, brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has claimed the responsibility for the firing at Salman Khan’s house on Sunday morning, in Bandra, Mumbai.
Anmol, who is wanted for the murder of Punjabi pop star Sidhu Moosewala, termed the firing as “first and last warning” for the Bollywood superstar. He also threatened the actor saying, “henceforth, the bullets will not be fired at the walls or any empty house.”
The wanted criminal is suspected to be hiding in Canada, as per the police sources. Crime branch officials in Mumbai has stated they are currently investigating the authenticity of Facebook post.
For the unversed, at around 5 in the morning, two unidentified motorcycle- borne men fired five rounds at the actor’s home in Bandra and fled the spot.
The Facebook post surfaced on the internet around 11.30 am. It read, “We want peace. If the only decision against oppression is war, then so be it. Salman Khan, we have done this to show you the trailer.” The post further warned him of not testing their capabilities as this is their first and last warning.
The post started with “Om” and “Jai Shree Ram” and claimed that they have dogs named after Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel, whom Salman consider as gods, as per the Lawrence Bishnoi group.
