Fans speculate Alia Bhatt ready to play Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film, Ramayana

Twitter fans were divided after a story stated Alia Bhatt had been cast as Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Ram.

Alia Bhatt appears to be ready to play Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated film, Ramayana, after playing a character named Sita in RRR (2022). According to a recent source, the actor has been confirmed to play Sita alongside her real-life husband Ranbir Kapoor, who will play Lord Ram. Alia Bhatt began trending on Twitter as soon as the rumour went viral.

One of Alia Bhatt’s fan pages decided to prove why she was the greatest choice for the role. “Four things that will make @aliaa08 the best Sita:” stated a tweet from the fan page. 1. Alia’s stature 2. She is a fantastic actor (if you have any doubts, see Gangubai Kathiawadi). 3. They (Alia and Ranbir) are a real-life couple who love each other solely as Ram and Sita (and thus do not need to act as if they do). 4. Her performance as Sita in RRR was fantastic.”

“For people who are giving opinions on casting of Ramayana and comparing (it to) Adipurush, Nitesh Tiwari is the one who has been working on it for three years now,” a Twitter user remarked. He believes Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are the perfect fit for his concept. It’s not like they’re making money off of your money.”

A Twitter user posted a short clip of her as Sita from RRR, writing, “Alia Bhatt as Sita, she is so beautiful and pure.” She is certainly a Goddess.” A Twitter user also questioned the need for so many Ramayana films, given that Om Raut’s Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is also set to release in June.
